Dear Residents,
We would like to inform you that a new planning application has been submitted for the Lisieux Hall site, which is just across from the Glencairn Road entrance to the estate. The developer was previously granted permission to build 69 units on this site back in 2017, however he has now submitted a new application directly to An Bord Pleanala, under the strategic applications process, for 200 units. The details of the application can be viewed on the developers website at https://lisieuxhallshd.ie.
DLRCC planners have confirmed that the development contravenes the local area development plan (see Appendix C to the Planning Statement). The Gallops Residents Association will be lodging an objection (known as observations) to An Bord Pleanala on behalf of the residents on the basis that the scale and height of the development will have an adverse impact on residents quality of life and contravenes the local area development plan of DLRCC. We would encourage individual residents to make similar objections as well. Making an observation costs €20 and details of how to do this are available on the website of An Bord Pleanala.
Regards,
The Committee
