The Gallops estate, located in Leopardstown in Dublin 18, is home to over 600 families on the doorstep of the Dublin Mountains. The first houses were built in the nineties, with several further phases added to the development over time. Roads in the estate are either named beginning with “Glencairn“, for the older houses, or “Orby“, for the newer houses. Glencairn is the name of the private estate bounding The Gallops which is currently home to the British Ambassador. This mansion was originally built in 1904.
The Green Luas line passes by the estate, with three stops bounding it
(Glencairn, The Gallops, and
Leopardstown Valley). Leopardstown Shopping Centre is 5 minutes walk, and Carrickmines Retail Park, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Stillorgan Shopping Centre and Dunnes Cornelscourt are only minutes away by car.
Please support our work in your estate – any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
