The GRA Committee is delighted to announce that we have set up a Paypal facility on our website which will allow residents to make a donation directly to help with the running costs of the Residents Association. Unlike many other estates, we don’t charge an annual subscription but instead rely on donations from residents to fund our activities during the year. Up to now, we have relied on door to door collections every 2 to 3 years, but this new initiative will mean that we can hopefully rely on a steadier stream of income each year, rather than the peaks and troughs we have had in the past. The running costs of the GRA are not prohibitive and usually come to about €1,000 a year. This covers costs such as public liability insurance for meetings, printing, website maintenance expenses etc. If you can spare €5 or €10 once a year or even every second year, then that should leave us in a sound financial position to continue our activities on your behalf.
