Update on tennis court maintenance and dog fouling signage in the estate

rubbish collected at clean up in Dublin 18Thanks again to those who braved the weather and joined the committee for our monthly clean up at the beginning of the month. It was lovely to see you all especially the children and our furry friends. Although the attendance was lower than usual, we really appreciated your help and still managed to fill four DLRCC blue bags with litter.

Our committee also managed to erect some new dog fouling and litter signage supplied by DLRCC. Please pick up after your dog and use the bin at the entrance of the park in front of the tennis courts to dispose of any dog fouling bags or other litter, to keep the estate lovely for all of us.

We are very thankful to DLRCC’s Park Superintendant who was carrying out an inspection of the playground and sporting facilities in our estate. We can confirm that our tennis courts were reopened on Monday following the lifting of restrictions. Please note the tennis courts are subject to government restrictions as well as Tennis Ireland guidelines, hence the later reopening of our courts by DLRCC. We are also pleased to let you know that DLRCC will be upgrading the older tennis net and posts as soon as it is safe to do so.
