Sunday 13 October – For Home Owners Energy Improvements Seminar
As part of dlr’s partnership with the Open House Dublin Architecture Festival, dlrcoco are delighted to respond to the 2019 theme of ‘City in Motion’ by hosting a workshop especially for homeowners about creative solutions to achieving a sustainable home.
With the support of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and the Dublin Energy Agency Codema, a practical free seminar open to all will take place during the afternoon in the LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire.
This seminar will help you to:
• Understand your electricity bill and tariffs. Please bring your bill with you on the day.
• Find out how you can save energy and learn about heating, draught sealing, insulation, hot water heating and lighting.
• Find out what grants are available from the SEAI.
The seminar will also include:
• Practical examples of energy improvements on homes.
• A presentation of a step-by-step deep retrofit of a house.
