We have been made aware by some residents of an accident that occurred recently in the Leopardstown Valley estate where someone was knocked down.
While we don’t know the specifics of what happened, we would like to remind all residents of the need to drive slowly through the estate, particularly during the summer months when there are more children out and about.
Thank you.
The above accident reminds me of a possible accident in relation to children riding to school using the footpath. I understand the reason for that, but the speed past gate entrances/exits, neither they nor an unsuspecting car driver could stop quick enough. I’m not quite sure what can be done. D. Elliott
